Mark Aarøe Nissen (Chairman)

Mark lives in Denmark and is a co-founder of World Pi Federation.

Mark has a Master's degree in Statistics from Aarhus University

and has competed successfully in a number of international memory competitions.

He became a Grandmaster of Memory in London in 2013.

In Emden, Germany, in 2018 he succeded the Pi Matrix Challenge.

Marcel Keitsch (Vice Chairman)

Marcel lives in Germany. He is a great Pi mnemonician and a co-founder of World Pi Federation.

He won the Pi Competition in Emden in 2017 with 5609 digits. He did the first 10863 digits of Pi during the competition in Emden in 2024.

Marcel is also a professional chess and shogi player. He won the Chess Championship in Eslohe in 2002, 2004 and 2010. Contact: marcel@worldpifederation.org
